Super Simple Scheduling Solutions

February 7, 2017movemapmain, Tools
[upme_private]Do you have clients that book sessions with you for one-on-one meetings? Do you ever get frustrated going back and forth with emails trying to pin down a time that works?

There are many solutions for this online, and here I’ll share the free one I’m using, as well as what I understand is a very good and inexpensive paid solution.

I’m using www.simplybook.me and as the free plan allows you the one plugin that I find crucial, it’s good enough for me. The main functionality that I need is two-way syncing with my Google Calendar, meaning that when someone grabs a spot it shows up on my calendar, and when I put something on my own calendar, it shows up as busy on my booking page.

Take a look at my page and see how it’s set up: http://markmetz.simplybook.me

Note that when you sign up it will give you a two week trial that includes 3 plugins, and when your two weeks is up it will reset everything so you will need to reactivate your calendar sync. The good thing is they have great live chat support, which you will likely need to get it dialed in correctly.

I have also heard good things about https://acuityscheduling.com, but it looks like it costs at least $10/month to get the calendar syncing.
